Colleagues find themselves facing difficulties for a variety of reasons. One source of support is the Welfare Fund. A separate entity to the Federation, the Civil Nuclear Constabulary Welfare Fund Ltd is available to all officers and staff who contribute into it on a monthly basis. You will be invited to join the Welfare Fund during your induction.
If you are already working for CNC but haven't yet joined the Welfare Fund and wish to do, you will find information on the CNC intranet available when you are logged on at work.
There are a number of key benefits to joining the fund including access to request a standard loans of £500 (£25 admin fee over one year) which is available annually to all members of the fund – you simply need to join first. Loans above the standard require an application process to be followed: please contact your local Federation representative who can guide you through the process and assist with the application forms.
