The Civil Nuclear Police Federation (CNPF) have teamed up with colleagues from the Civil Nuclear Constabulary to exhibit at the Blue Light Show in London.

The Blue Light Show is the only cross-collaborative event that’s focused on bringing together the emergency services community. This high-profile event welcomed visitors from around the world to London’s Olympia on 18-19 June, where they were able to build relationships, support interoperability, and share insights and expertise.

CNPF Chief Executive, Colin Longstaff, is part of the Blue Light Show Advisory Board. Through his association with the event, the CNPF was keen to highlight the work of the CNC and help to correct assumptions people sometimes make about the unique role of the force.

Colleagues from SEG and CNC’s recruitment team joined representatives of the CNPF at the stand, where they had the opportunity to engage with event attendees from around the globe.

Darren Adams, Chair of CNPF, said: "It was a fantastic opportunity to showcase the work of the CNC to the wider Blue Light community. There was plenty of interest from visitors, some of whom inquired about recruitment, so having the team there to chat with them was beneficial.

“We were able to connect with key partners, including The National Police Healthcare, Police Care UK, Care of Police Survivors, the Police Treatment Centre, and so many other incredible charities and organisations that support the police and wider emergency services"
