The Civil Nuclear Police Federation (CNPF) is again supporting the Blue Light Show in London, with Darren Adams having been asked to join the Show’s Advisory Board.

Taking place at Olympia on 1-2 July, the Blue Light Show is a leading emergency services conference and expo. Shaped by the sector, for the sector, it brings blue-light services and other first responders together to collaborate, learn, and prepare for future challenges.

For frontline officers, the Show offers hands-on demonstrations of tech and service equipment, practical skills sessions, scenario-based learning, and insights into emergency services collaboration and joint response.

Senior leaders can expect strategic briefings; workforce, culture, and service leadership development; procurement clarity and future investment planning; and national and emergency services collaboration sessions.

New for 2026 is the Public Safety and Threat Mitigation Zone, which will be of particular interest to CNC colleagues. This comprehensive hub for operational readiness, resilience, and protective security will focus on how counterterrorism, public safety, and emergency services can unite to prevent, respond to, and recover from modern threats.

Last year, Darren and colleagues from CNC’s recruitment team hosted a stand at the event. He said: “It gave us a fantastic opportunity to showcase the work of the CNC to the wider Blue Light community. There was plenty of interest from visitors, some of whom inquired about recruitment, so having the team there to chat with them was beneficial.”

The Blue Light Show is open to anyone working in the emergency services and is free to attend. Book your place here.
