Have your say. We can improve policing together appears above a picture of men and women in various police roles. There is direction to complete the survey by visiting the Intranet.

For the first time since it was launched, Civil Nuclear Constabulary is taking part in the National Police Wellbeing Survey. This means we all have a chance to shape decisions that affect our day-to-day working life, both nationally and within our force.

The National Police Wellbeing Survey is open now. Visit the Intranet and follow the link to share your views. This short confidential survey is your opportunity to share what it’s really like to work in policing, and what would make it better. It takes under 10 minutes to complete.

Not another survey?!

You might be feeling a bit ‘surveyed out’, but our collective and individual wellbeing is crucial. Giving up ten minutes of your time will help to paint a clearer picture of:

  • Wellbeing and work demands

  • The support given by managers and teams

  • Leadership and communication

  • Resources, recognition and inclusion

  • Overall engagement and pride in the service

Who should take part?

All ranks. All roles. All voices. This survey is open to everyone.

It is run by Leapwise, who are managing the collection and analysis of data independently. Responses are anonymous and confidential which means you can speak openly and honestly

How to take part

The easiest way to find the survey is to visit the Intranet. It’s clearly signposted on the home page. You can complete it during working hours; senior leaders and line managers support this.

Why it’s worth it

What you say will directly inform national and local action. Past survey responses have already led to real changes, including:

  • A national sleep, fatigue and recovery programme

  • The Police Health Observatory

  • A National Health and Wellbeing Strategy

 What happens next?

Initial results dashboards will be shared with forces immediately after the survey closes. A national report will be published within two months and you can expect to see clear updates on how your feedback is shaping real change in CNC and across policing.

This is your opportunity to influence how policing supports its people. It’s easy to take part and it is important that you do.
