On Tuesday the 13th of September, several CNC officers based at Dounreay are set to attempt the National Three Peaks Challenge; climbing Snowdon (Wales), Scafell Pike (England) & Ben Nevis (Scotland) in just 24 hours.

All donations will go directly to local charity organisation Caithness KLICS. Their Just Giving page can be found by clicking here. Caithness KLICS is the only dedicated young carers project in Caithness and aims to support young people under the age of 18 years old who have a caring role at home. These young people can find themselves caring or supporting a parent with a long or short term illness or who may have drug alcohol or mental health issues. They could also be helping support a sibling or other family member.

KLICS aim to support these young people through one to one support, group activities and by working with the schools to ensure they reach the same potential as their peers. Any donations are welcome! Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
